What is OpenTAS GO ?
OpenTAS GO is a new product, based on OpenTAS GmbH’s established terminal management system with a limited and more focused set of functions to enable a quick start to run a terminal with it:
It is delivered with a standardized setup supporting preconfigured processes on an already initialized client with master data templates for a faster setup. This serves as a blueprint for how to map your terminal operations in OpenTAS without the need of extensive configuration.
OpenTAS GO is available in 3 variants:
IDT - Inland Distribution Terminal
OpenTAS GO IDT allows you to manage your entire terminal operations in one system and gives you a comprehensive overview of your inventories and movements. It enables driver-operated loading via full process automation from arrival to departure and can be quickly implemented without the need for complicated on-site IT activities.
MRT - Marine Terminal
OpenTAS GO MRT allows you to manage your entire terminal operations in one system and gives you a comprehensive overview of your inventories and movements. It comes with full marine process coverage from arrival to departure - including Ship Loading and Unloading, Blending Operations, Customs Handling and Jetty & Berth Scheduling.
SPT - Special Product Terminal
OpenTAS GO SPT is the number one Terminal Management solution on the market, developed to meet the needs of terminals that handle special products like bitumen, LPG, LNG, crude oil and chemicals – at a cost that suits your operational budget.
With the ready-to-go processes, according to the chosen variant, you can manage incoming and outgoing goods, perform accounting of product movements and operational services. The creation of transport documents and several reports (on-screen evaluations as well as printouts) for customers, internal supervision or KPI purposes is included.
OpenTAS GO Level-2-integration is vendor independent - it can be done with almost any type of in-the-field equipment and is delivered with a set of turnkey drivers. It can be integrated into all existing IT landscapes, because OprnTAS GmbH supports common industry and vendor-specific protocols.
OpenTAS GO can be enhanced with additional modules: e.g. the Business Data Processor BDP for communication with EDI Partners (AddBPO), as well as the Customer Portal (AddCPO) and Service Contract Management (AddSCM).
With the full-service option chosen, OpenTAS GO customers require no own IT infrastructure or services.
Additionally OpenTAS GmbH offers a wide range of business services such as application support, business consulting and the business services iDAT & iBPA.
